Mara never slept again. But she never stopped playing either. Because every time she closed her eyes, the red dot moved one pixel closer.
1. The player is alone. 2. The player hears footsteps behind them. 3. The player does not turn around. 4. The player turns around. 5. GOTO 1. She laughed nervously. A joke script. But when she hit “Execute,” her office chair creaked.

And Script 11 was still executing.
The red dot moved.

Behind her.
She clicked.
It looked like a level editor. A gray grid, a toolbox of scripts, and in the center: a single structure. A concrete bunker marked with a stenciled “11.” No doors. No windows. Just a red dot pulsing on the minimap. The footsteps started again
