Pokémon: Indigo League is the retrospective name for the first 82 episodes of the original Pokémon anime (Japanese: Pocket Monsters ), which aired from April 1997 to January 1999. It follows Ash Ketchum (Satoshi), Pikachu, Brock, and Misty through Kanto—from Pallet Town to the Indigo Plateau Conference.
