No director’s name. No studio. No contact. Lila slipped the key into her pocket

The script arrived at 3:07 AM, sealed in a black envelope with no return address. Lila’s name was written across the front in gold ink, the letters slanted like a sigh.

The final page was blank except for a single line at the bottom: END OF ACT ONE

She couldn’t hold it. Not tonight.
