"My name is Kofi," he replied in a low, gravelly voice. "I've been waiting for you."

As she approached her aunt's compound, she noticed a figure sitting by the gate. He was tall and gaunt, with piercing eyes that seemed to bore into her soul. Akua's heart skipped a beat as he stood up and approached her.

Suddenly, a loud noise startled her. She turned to see Kofi standing behind her, a mischievous glint in his eye.

"You shouldn't have come here tonight," he whispered.

Akua was puzzled. How did her aunt know Kofi? And why was he acting like an old friend?

"My aunt is not well," Akua said, trying to keep the conversation light. "I'm going to sit with her tonight."

As the night wore on, Akua grew more and more uneasy. Kofi seemed to know an awful lot about her and her family. He told stories that made her aunt laugh and reminisce.

Akua was left with more questions than answers. But as she lay in bed that night, she couldn't shake the feeling that she had encountered something much bigger than herself. "My name is Kofi," he replied in a low, gravelly voice

But Akua couldn't shake the feeling that Kofi was hiding something. She excused herself to fetch some water from the well. As she walked back to the compound, she noticed that Kofi was missing.

Akua froze, her heart pounding. And then, just as suddenly as he had appeared, Kofi vanished into thin air.
